Ms Ayuni Nur Izyanti Md Zuraimi was only 15 when she became fascinated with volunteer work after participating in the Values-in-Action (VIA) programme in 2021. Her first project was as a committee member of the TP Community Service Club (TPCSC). Now 20, she was among the youths highlighted by the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Mr Lawrence Wong, as a role model for the spirit of renewing and strengthening Singapore, one of the key themes of Budget 2026. Mr Josef Tan Kai Heng, 19, was also highlighted for helping migrant workers master digital software since 2024. The SP student started the initiative out of the belief that migrant workers deserve the opportunity to enhance their skills.
