For individuals looking to upskill or reskill through courses and for corporates looking to transform their workforce
SSG offers course fee funding and training allowances for Singapore Citizens (SC) and Singapore Permanent Residents (SPR) pursuing approved training courses.
The funding support rate varies depending on the course enrolled and the age of SCs.
For SPRs, subsidies are only applicable for their first Part-time Diploma and first Post-Diploma – which includes their first Advanced Diploma, first Specialist Diploma and first Diploma (Conversion). Please note that SPRs must not have previously attained a qualification at the Diploma or higher level that was subsidised through an MOE subsidy or Government sponsorship.
SkillsFuture Credits (SFC) aim to promote lifelong learning and support individuals in deepening existing skills or acquiring new ones beyond their current profession.
All SCs aged 25 and above are eligible for an initial credit of $500 to offset course fees for approved training courses.
Applicants can complete payment using SFC in the STEP student portal. Please note that applications to use SFC is only available starting 60 days from the course commencement date. You can refer to this step-by-step guide on applying SFC to course payment.
HEB is a government bursary to support the education expenses of SCs taking MOE-subsidised courses. Online application via STEP student portal will commence from the 3rd week after semester starts. The application period is open for 4 weeks.

PSEA, administered by the Ministry of Education, is opened for all eligible SCs and can be used to pay off your own or your siblings course fee payment.

The SkillsFuture Level-Up Programme is designed to provide enhanced support for mid-career SCs aged 40 and above, enabling them to go through significant skills upgrading and remain competitive in a rapid evolving economy.
The ITE Progression Award helps Singaporean ITE Graduates aged 30 and below to swiftly advance their careers by obtaining a Part-Time Diploma, easing financial burdens and enabling focus on professional and personal goals.

The NSA subsidy is applicable for SCs aged 50 and above.
UTAP is a training support scheme for NTUC members and NTUC starter members. It aims to cover the cost of training and encourage more members to go for skills upgrading and reskilling.
Enhanced Training Support for Small Medium Enterprises (ETSS) helps Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) cover up to 90% of course fees when they send their employees to SSG supported courses.
