• Explain how computational design can be part of the IDD workflow.
• Work with parametric models as part of the computational design work in the IDD workflow.
• Run basic optimisation with the parametric model.

Course Objective

This Course aims to provide trainees with the understanding of computational design processes which are part of the execution of Integrated Digital Delivery [IDD]. Laboratory practices will be conducted to facilitate learning. Trainees will be introduced to parametric modelling and experience how to work with parametric models and computational design techniques.

Minimum Requirements

Pre-requisite: Participants must have prior BIM Intermediate knowledge.The participant shall be a graduate of a relevant Architectural, Landscape Architectural, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering or related diploma, with prior BIM software knowledge from any of the ITEs, or Polytechnics in Singapore. Applicants with other equivalent qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

• Certificate of Attendance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate

• Certificate of Performance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who pass the examination and meet at least 75% attendance rate
