Course Objective

This course aims to provide the knowledge of interpreting and preparing engineering drawings of mechanical parts based on International Standard Organisation (ISO) Standard recommendations. Participants will be equipped with the knowledge in blueprint reading, orthographic projection, sectioning and dimensioning of mechanical components of mechanical devices, which are key elements of engineering graphics communication. They will be able to use Computer-Aided Drafting & Design (CADD) software to produce 2D layout drawings of mechanical parts.
