Course Objective

This course provides training, as approved by ‘Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore’ (MPA) Singapore for preparing Junior Officers, with experience as Nautical Officers in Special Limit (SL) Areas (holders of Marine Engineer Officer Class 5 SL) in the Maritime industry, to become Masters of vessels operating in SL areas. Upon completion, participants will be able to serve as Chief Engineers on board all vessels operating in Singapore SL areas.
