Course Objective
This hands-on course introduces participants to modern creative tools—such as ChatGPT, MidJourney, and CapCut—that assist in shaping story concepts, developing character arcs, and building visual references to support the creative process.
Using these tools to enhance ideation, experiment with narrative possibilities, and explore different directions in visual storytelling are its focus.
Through guided sessions, participants will learn practical techniques for structuring stories, refining character development, and translating ideas into compelling visual drafts. They will also gain access to creative prompts, story frameworks, and digital tools designed to support their storytelling journey.
Beyond technical skills, participants are taught in a collaborative environment connecting with a network of illustrators, writers, and content creators—encouraging knowledge sharing and creative exchange. While topics such as publishing and intellectual property may be touched upon in context, this course primarily emphasises creative exploration, responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted tools, and development of storytelling craft. It aims empowering participants with the confidence and skills to navigate today’s evolving creative landscape.
