What You Will Learn

Microsoft Excel remains one of the most widely used and accessible tools for business analysis across organisations. This course equips participants with practical skills to transform, manage, and analyse data using Microsoft Excel (Microsoft 365 / Excel 2024+ or equivalent), with Generative AI (GenAI) to enhance productivity and insight generation.

Designed for working professionals who handle data in their daily roles, they will undergo hands-on learning with realistic workplace datasets. They will apply Excel tools like pivot tables, charts, and interactive dashboards to clean, analyse, and present data. GenAI will be used to support formula creation and analytical tasks, letting participants work more efficiently and confidently with data.

Participants will also explore scenario planning tools to evaluate business situations and support data driven decision making, strengthening both individual effectiveness and enterprise data literacy.

By end of this course, participants will be able to:

Prepare and clean datasets using text, lookup and Power Query functions.
Apply statistical and logical functions to perform descriptive and comparative analysis.
Create and customise charts, as well as PivotCharts to communicate data insights.
Build interactive dashboards using PivotTables, Slicers, Timelines and the Data Model for multi-table analysis.
