What You Will Learn

This course aims to train participants who are construction site supervisors on the environmental health control work. This course is in-line with the primary aim of the Environmental Control Officers (Specified Construction Sites) [ECO {SCS)] scheme where supervisors are to take a more pro-active role to ensure that construction sites are kept free of environmental health problems.

More Information

This course aims to support NEA’s Environmental Control Officers Scheme that advocates good environmental practices within specified construction sites (SCS).

Please note the 'Notification on Changes to Environmental Control Officer (ECO) Licences' Circular (12 Nov 2019) issued by National Environment Agency (NEA).

A 2-hour e-Exam (60 multiple choice questions) will be conducted 2 weeks after course completion.

Participants must achieve at least 75% attendance to be eligible for the examination, and attain a minimum score of 70% to pass.

Successful participants may download the e-certificate from STEP thereafter.
