Course Objective

This course is designed for individuals, including mid-careerists, gaining knowledge and skills in digital manufacturing cybersecurity, especially Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based Industrial Control System (ICS) security. It trains basic and advanced PLC technologies including programming, Node-RED based Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, ICS network architectures, as well as PLC based cybersecurity applications using popular cybersecurity tools (e.g., Wireshark, Ettercap, Scapy). Participants can work as PLC programming and maintenance engineers, as well as ICS security engineers after completion.
