What You Will Learn

At the end of the course, participants will be able to communicate with other vessels and authorities using the marine Very High Frequency (VHF) radio. Additionally, to be able to assist in evacuation by helicopter during an emergency onboard a pleasure craft at sea.

More Information

This course is catered and required by the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore for Singapore-registered/flag pleasure craft owners/masters who intend to sail out of Singapore port limit.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Communicate using the marine VHF radio
Gain knowledge on helicopter rescue at sea
