With proliferation of computers and mobile devices, need for security rapidly gains significance where confidential information and critical infrastructure face risks of being hacked. Malware, social engineering, infrastructure destruction, Cyberterrorism, system and application exploits are threatening individuals and corporations, daily. Hence, disastrous consequences will result if these threats are not mitigated.
The Singapore government understands the importance of managing these security threats; hence announced the latest National Cyber Security Masterplan 2018, with one of the key areas focusing on growing the country’s pool of Cybersecurity experts.
Therefore, our Specialist Diploma course in Cyber Security Management is designed to train working Information Technology (IT) professionals in the important areas of Cybersecurity, in response to the Masterplan.
Participants are required to bring computer Notebooks when attending lessons, to access e-learning materials, writing reports, etc.
They will, overall, be equipped with essential technical skills for securing computer and network resources, as well as handle Cyber range exercises. Participants will also learn how to apply the principles and practices of Infocomm Security Management, and to carry the forensics process, in computers and mobile devices, out.
