Course Objective

The Specialist Diploma in Sustainable Digital Manufacturing focuses on regulations, tools, and technologies in the area of sustainability for the manufacturing sector. It equips manufacturing supervisors and engineers or participants with equivalent roles with the knowledge and skillsets to implement sustainability framework and solutions in their companies and industry.

Participants will gain knowledge of the use of AI, along with emerging manufacturing technologies, to come up with solutions in optimising the production processes. They will also understand how energy monitoring system can be implemented for monitoring and reporting purposes.

Participants will be kept abreast of the latest sustainability regulations and guidelines from local government agencies and global governing bodies. This ensures currency providing participants with a clear direction towards the advancement of sustainable development efforts and practices in their companies and industry.

More Information

This course consists of 2 Post-Diploma Certificates (PDCs) conducted over two semesters within one academic year, with each PDC consisting of two modules. Classes will be conducted in the evenings.

PDC 2 in Monitoring and Reporting for Sustainability was co-developed with TUV SUD.

Upon completion of PDC 2, participants will receive two certificates of completion from TUV SUD, one certificate for each of the PDC 2 modules.
