Course Introduction:

The course comprises of 2-days to introduce key requirements step-by-step, and giving practical examples of how to overcome potential hurdles in sustainability reporting as well as compliance to international sustainability reporting framework & guidelines. 

Course Objective

The programme aims to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills on sustainability reporting against standards, frameworks and guidelines. Participants will be able to apply sustainability reporting process from materiality to stakeholder engagement according to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance metrics.

Course Outline

Course Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the Course, participants will be able to: 

  1. Prepare a sustainability report in accordance to standards, frameworks and guidelines.                                                             
  2. Assess materiality affecting decisions, actions and performance of an organisation in sustainability reporting.

Topics to be covered

  1. Requirements of sustainability reporting based on standards, frameworks and guidelines
  2. Assessment of materiality affecting the decisions, actions and performance of an organisation in sustainability reporting 
  3. Reporting process to prepare a sustainability report benchmark against ESG metrics
  4. Planning a sustainability report from practical approach and taking into consideration the characteristics of a good report

Nitec/Higher Nitec and above

Certification / Accreditation

• Certificate of Attendance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate

• Certificate of Completion (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants who pass the assessment and meet at least 75% attendance rate
