What You Will Learn

The programme aims to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills on sustainability reporting against standards, frameworks and guidelines. Participants will be able to apply sustainability reporting process from materiality to stakeholder engagement according to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance metrics.

By end of this course, participants will be able to:

Prepare a sustainability report in accordance to standards, frameworks and guidelines.
Assess materiality affecting decisions, actions and performance of an organisation in sustainability reporting.

Topics to be covered

Requirements of sustainability reporting based on standards, frameworks and guidelines
Assessment of materiality affecting the decisions, actions and performance of an organisation in sustainability reporting
Reporting process to prepare a sustainability report benchmark against ESG metrics
Planning a sustainability report from practical approach and taking into consideration the characteristics of a good report

More Information

This course is accredited by the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) and is part of the IES Chartered Engineer (Sustainability) Framework. Please click here for more information or to view other SP courses under the framework.

The course comprises of 2-days to introduce key requirements step-by-step, and giving practical examples of how to overcome potential hurdles in sustainability reporting as well as compliance to international sustainability reporting framework & guidelines.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Points

Eligible participants who have completed the course with Certificate of Completion may qualify for 16 CPD points. CPD application and points awarded is subjected to the approval of Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
