This course will provide an overview of Training Within Industry (TWI) to participants, and demonstrate how Job Methods and Job Relations can enhance Workplace Learning.
Job Methods enable participants to analyse, refine processes and workflow by these steps:
• Eliminate - Remove unnecessary steps not adding value
• Combine - Merge one or more steps if they are sequential
• Rearrange - Alter the order of steps to improve overall efficiency
• Simplify - Streamline steps to reduce complexity
• Review - Check workflow for any safety concerns or error prone areas
Job Relations strengthen participants’ ability to manage staff, inspire trust and foster a collaborative workplace culture with:
• Effective communication to promote clear and respectful communication between each other
• Conflict resolution to address workplace conflicts in a constructive manner
• Morale building to improve employee satisfaction and team cohesion
This course will also include role-playing exercises, allowing participants to experience firsthand on the methodology and build confidence implementing. Case studies will also be shared, based on real-world workplace challenges, facilitating experiential learning.
