As organisations across industries accelerate their transition towards net-zero goals and responsible business practices, sustainability has become a core driver of strategy, compliance, and long-term value creation.

Through this Specialist Diploma in Business Sustainability & Reporting, you will gain practical skills in ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting, carbon management, and sustainable business transformation to prepare you to meet rising regulatory expectations and stakeholder demands while driving meaningful, purpose-led change within your organisation.

Developed in partnership with NVPC and Giti Tire, this course represents a unique collaboration in Singapore across the social sector, academia, and industry. This cross-sector approach provides you with diverse perspectives, practical sustainability skills and insights into how sustainability is applied in real organisational contexts. Learn through industry examples, current organisational challenges, and guided activities that include templates and tools which you can apply directly in your workplace.

Key Outcomes

Apply corporate purpose and sustainability principles to align business strategy with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals
Develop and interpret sustainability reports using global frameworks such as GRI, IFRS S1/S2, and local regulatory requirements (ACRA, SGX)
Measure, analyse, and manage carbon emissions (Scope 1, 2, and 3) to support net-zero and decarbonisation strategies
Evaluate sustainable finance, ESG integration, and impact investing approaches to support responsible investment decisions
Apply sustainability tools, systems thinking, and digital technologies (AI, RPA, ESG platforms) to improve reporting, analysis, and decision-making
