Course Details

The Work-Study Post-Diploma (Specialist Diploma in Data Science (Artificial Intelligence)) aims to give fresh Polytechnic graduates a head start in their careers, preparing them for job roles such as Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Engineers. 

At the end of the programme, participants will acquire practical skills through structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) under the guidance of a WSP Partner Company. They will also obtain a Specialist Diploma and acquire and deepen their knowledge and skills in:

• Statistics and Programming for Data Science 

• Feature Engineering, Machine Learning Model Training and Inferencing, incl. setting up training pipelines

• Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning to enable human and AI interactions through virtual/conversational agents, deep learning models for computer vision and natural language processing, question anwering and intelligent reasoning

Upon completion of the two Post-Diploma Certificates and fulfilment of the skills competency through on-the-job training within the twelve-month validity period, participants will be conferred the Specialist Diploma in Data Science (Artificial Intelligence) from Singapore Polytechnic.
