Mr Lucas Tok, a marketing and retail lecturer at SP’s Business School, opined that niche artisanal bakeries would experience an increase in orders as consumers would be looking for something different, new and exciting to bring to the dining table. Ms Leung Sau Yee, a lecturer at SP's Business School, added that there is also an emerging trend of buying pre-cooked food, allowing consumers to play host at home with minimal culinary skills.
