After having his website hacked, male student decided to enrol into Infocomm Security Management course

Lianhe Zaobao, 20 Aug 2015 - Article featured SP’s Diploma in Infocomm Security Management student Shawn Pang and SP’s Diploma in Financial Informatics student Joyce Tan who was awarded the Infocomm Polytechnic Scholarship (iPoly Scholarship) and Infocomm Study Award (iPoly Award) respectively. In total, 26 students received the National Infocomm Scholarship, while 23 and 29 students received the inaugural iPoly Scholarship and iPoly Award respectively, during the IDA Scholarship Ceremony yesterday. SP students took the lion’s share of the iPoly Scholarship this year. Article also mentioned that all five polys offer network security and infocomm-related courses. IDA Executive Deputy Chairman Steven Leonard shared that the scholarship awards serve to encourage polytechnic students to develop their Infocomm security management and software development skills and to be innovative so as to meet the demands of the Infocomm industry.
