All eyes on this high-tech fashion store

The Sunday Times - 14 Dec 2014 - The Singapore Polytechnic Entrepreneurship Living Laboratory (SPELL) at Changi Airport has just been relaunched. SPELL is the first and only off-campus retail store in Singapore that is managed and run by SP students. Based on a survey conducted by SP students, the new store features brighter colours, digital signage and a new layout. SP Business School lecturer, Mr Kenneth Wong opined on how a newly installed CCTV system will allow lecturers at the Dover Road campus to assess students who are learning in the store as part of their entrepreneurship module. SP’s Diploma in Business Administration students, Ms Chua Jia Qi and Ms Rachel Chia, shared how SPELL has enhanced their learning experience by exposing them to various aspects of running a business such as merchandising, sourcing, planning and conceptualising business ideas.
