Asean centric mindset needed to realise region’s potential: Lawrence Wong

Todayonline.com, 22 Dec 2014 - At the 3rd Youth Model ASEAN Conference held at SP, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Lawrence Wong told the 200 youth delegates that Asia is the region with the best long-term prospects, likening it to an plane, and its economic giants China and India to the wings of the plane. He also said that it would be better for ASEAN countries to focus on economic integration first before thinking of a common currency.
