Enterprising entrepreneurs reinvent retail to entice shoppers

The Straits Times – Life, 20 May 2017 - Article highlighted the popularity of multi-concept stores, which allow shoppers to eat, shop and take part in workshops in the same space. Ms Sarah Lim, senior retail lecturer at SP’s Business School, cautions against too many retailers jumping on the bandwagon as this would make such spaces commonplace. She opined that retailers have to give all elements equal focus in a multi-concept store in order to ensure sustainability.
