Firms get extra S$10m boost from Spring

The Business Times, 6 August 2014 - Spring Singapore has set aside another S$10 million to help companies develop and adopt new standards and to set up standards-development organisations that will focus on new sectors. Some 50 potential standards have been identified and will be developed over the next three to five years. These include standards on quality management and the use of advanced non-destructive evaluation techniques in additive manufacturing. At the same time, Spring also signed a Memoranda of Understanding with SP to further its collaboration in the design of a course curriculum and delivery of a diploma course in Applied Sciences to raise the competency level of works in laboratory management.
