JC student's mediocre results spurs her to become Direct Honours student in poly

Stomp, 11 May 2016 - Article featured SP’s Diploma in Experience and Product Design (DXPD) graduate and Institutional Medallist Kwek Ai Ling. Due to her poor ‘A’ level results, Ai Ling could not qualify for the university course of her choice. Later, she enrolled in a part-time course in jewellery design at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Being mesmerised by the design exhibits at SP Open House, she decided to enrol in the DXPD course. Ai Ling plans to further her studies by pursuing her dream course in industrial design at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
