Singapore Nautilus, 3Q 2014 - Article in the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore’s (MPA) quarterly publication featured the lives of seafarers and their contributions to the international community. SP’s Singapore Maritime Academy (SMA) graduate, Ms Hanisah Angelina Valberg, shared how her passion in seafaring was spurred by Captain Frederick Francis during a secondary school talk. Ms Valberg also shared her diploma course experience and the challenges she faced out at sea. The article also mentioned how MPA is working closely with SMA to conduct the Diploma in Nautical Studies and Certificate of Competency courses at SP.
