Motivations of Singapore Polytechnic Scholarship recipient

The Straits Times, 6 Aug 2015 - SP’s Diploma in Integrated Events and Project Management (DEPM) student, Ferry Maulana Achmad Chean, was featured for being awarded the SP Scholarship recently. The Scholarship recognises students who have done well academically and have also contributed to society. Ferry mentioned how he did badly for his GCE ‘A’ levels and decided to pursue a diploma in order to qualify for a local university. In the article, Ferry also shared how his time in SP is filled with memorable experiences such as carrying out community service in Kunming, China as part of the SP Outstanding Talent Programme. He also shared his DEPM course experiences and how the industry projects he has worked on has allowed him a deeper understanding of the industry.
