Lianhe Zaobao, 17 Apr 2016 A total of 10 individual and team awards were presented to 54 youth leaders at NTUC nEbO’s annual Spirit of Youth Awards (SOYA) in recognition of their contributions to the youth community in Singapore. SP’s Diploma in Engineering with Business (DEB) student Toh Lip Ann, who was one of the Excel Award recipients featured in the article, shared how his temper improved after joining nEbO. Article also highlighted his success in leading the Youth Entrepreneurship Symposium (YES) 2015, an initiative to promote and encourage youth entrepreneurship.

COMMS Note: Toh Lip Ann and SP’s DEB alumnus Teo Jian Rong also received the Team of Versatility Award for organising YES 2015 together with students from other polytechnics.
