Vulcan Post, 4 July 2017 - Article featured the founders of Packdat – SP’s Diploma in Engineering with Business final-year student Lee Zheng De and his brother Lee Zheng Dao who is a fresh graduate from SP’s School of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering. Packdat is a platform to help users plan their itineraries without hassle. Launched barely two weeks ago, the Packdat platform is at its infancy stages and more features are in the pipeline. Before Packdat, the brothers also launched Tripcendo, an online community marketplace that connected travellers with local hosts for specially-curated travel experiences, in May 2016. At their peak, they acquired over 200 local hosts in Singapore alone and even expanded to Manilla. However, they had to close down Tripcendo after realising that they had very little growth. But they continued to brainstorm for new venture ideas during their time in poly. The brothers also shared their experience and challenges in setting up and operating Packdat, as well as the current and upcoming features of the platform.
