Parts of heritage site Palmer House to be cleared for MRT

The Straits Times, 25 Feb 2016 - Part of the Bestway Building which housed the first SP campus, will be demolished to make way for the future Prince Edward MRT station. The Urban Redevelopment Authority previously said that the Bestway Building will be studied for conservation. Some members of the architectural community opined that the Bestway Building, which was home to Singapore's first architecture school, should be kept intact to be better understood as a school compound.
