Poly students develop programme to scan for malware within PDFs

Berita Minggu, 11 Oct 2015 - SP’s Diploma in Infocomm Security Management (DISM) student Muhd Mikail Jamil was featured for developing a programme that can scan for viruses and malware in PDF documents. The programme which was also his final year project was developed with three other classmates from the DISM course and was showcased at the recent GovWare Conference. In the article, Mikail shared his motivations for developing the programme. As one of the top students in his course, Mikail, who has a GPA of 3.9, also mentioned his aspirations of pursuing a Computer Science degree after graduation.
