The New Paper, 9 June 2017 - Article featured SP’s Diploma in Music & Audio Technology student Axel Teoh who shared how the Early Admissions Exercise (EAE) is an alternate pathway for him to pursue his passion in music.  Axel who graduated from events management in ITE, wrote his own songs in Secondary 4 and performed original rap pieces during his EAE interview. The EAE allows graduating O-level, final-year Nitec and Higher Nitec students from the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) to apply for and receive conditional offers for admission into polytechnics based on their course-specific aptitudes and interests. A TP student with mild dyslexia also shared how the EAE allowed her to pursue her dreams of being an early childhood educator. The Polytechnic EAE application window for ITE students opened yesterday. It is open until Wednesday for ITE students, and from June 22 to 28 for O-level students.
