Polytechnic forum to discuss ‘Kampung Spirit’

Channel News Asia, 16 Sep 2014 - Three hundred students from the five polytechnics will discuss ways to build upon the 'kampung spirit' of old, and recreate a strong sense of community, at this year's Polytechnic Forum. The students will be divided into four groups exploring different aspects and approaches to doing so - framing their sense of culture and identity, discovering their strengths and talents, engaging society through their skills and efforts, as well as examining communal spaces where social bonding takes place. SP’s Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering student, Mr Azman Ahmad Said, shared his thoughts on what the ‘Kampung Spirit’ means to him. A TP student also opined her thoughts on what the ‘Kampung Spirit’ is about. Similar article was reported on xinmsn.
