Polytechnics, ITEs take the lead to boost industry links

Today, 26 Aug 2014 - Polytechnics or ITEs will be designated as a lead institution for a given sector to strengthen linkages with industry. SP Principal is quoted endorsing the initiative saying the coordinating roles by sector leads will help smoothen the communication between employers, institutions and students, leading to a better applied learning experience for students. This will begin with SP as the lead institution for food technology, NP for marine and off-shore engineering, and RP for logistics.
