Republic Polytechnic student Yang Li Hui is the winner for the 1st National Tertiary Chinese Reading Competition

Lianhe Zaobao, 22 Jan 2017 - Article featured the 1st National Tertiary Chinese Reading Competition organised by the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning and Nanyang Technological University Chinese Society, in collaboration with zbNow and NP. The nine finalists came from NTU, NUS, NP, SP and RP. RP’s Diploma in Media Production and Design student Yang Li Hui emerged as the winner while NTU student Zuo Yi Qian and NP student Guo Xing Ru clinched the second and third prize respectively. Li Hui shared that her passion in Chinese language was cultivated back when she was studying in Foon Yew High School, a Chinese independent high school in Malaysia. She also shared on how the competition motivated her to read more books.
