Shell gets award for being a partner in S’pore’s progress

The Straits Times, 10 Oct 2014 - Energy giant Royal Dutch Shell was presented the Honorary Partner in Progress Award by PM Lee Hsien Loong yesterday. Shell is the first company to win the award, which recognises corporations for their investments in and contributions to the country. The company also plays a key role in hiring manpower that contributes to Singapore’s growth. SP mechatronics graduate, Mr Mirza Mohd Sallah, who has been with Shell since graduating in 1996 was mentioned in the article. He has been promoted 11 times over the past 18 years since joining Shell as a process technician with only a poly diploma. Similar story was reported in Lianhe Zaobao and Berita Harian.
