Singapore's first 'digital garage' opens at Tanjong Pagar Community Club

Channel News Asia, 9 Jul 2017 - Newsclip featured the opening of the first digital garage by Tanjong Pagar Community Club (CC) to teach basic coding and electronic skills to members of the public as Singapore moves towards a digital society. This is a collaboration with the Infocomm Media Development Authority. The CC aims to reach out to 1000 residents over three years. To sustain the garage and raise the digital literacy skills of residents, the CC is working with institutions like SP to help turn ideas into prototypes.
