28 Aug 2017

Lianhe Zaobao, 26 Aug 2017 - Last week the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) announced that 14 buildings were using unsafe claddings. An article after the announcement reported that one affected warehouse, managed by ESR Property Management, has completed works to remove the unsafe claddings. Teaching blocks T1 – T10 in SP are among those with unsafe claddings. An SP spokesperson emphasised that the teaching blocks are deemed safe by SCDF and the polytechnic takes the safety of its students and staff seriously. SP will work with the contractor to remove the affected claddings as soon as possible. Similar article was reported in Lianhe Wanbao.
