Singapore Polytechnic student designs logo in a first for Finance Ministry

StraitsTimes.com, 6 Mar 2016 - SP’s diploma in visual communication and media design student, Toh Ping Huang, was featured for designing this year’s Budget logo. His designs which were supervised by his lecturers, went through seven drafts before it was finally approved. The Ministry of Finance (MOF) mentioned that Ping Huang’s logo was chosen for its vibrant and meaningful design. This is the first time that MOF has involved students in the design of the Budget logo. In the article, Ping Huang also shared his aspirations and the meaningful experience designing the Budget logo.
