Singaporean students join local peers to develop Vietnam’s craft industry

Tuoi Tre News, 16 Oct 2015 - More than 50 students from SP and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City have completed the annual Learning Express program to improve craft villages in southern Vietnam. The program, which began on October 4, focused on finding solutions to support and develop local communities and craft villages that make lacquerware and ceramics. The solutions created by the students were displayed at an exhibition at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City on October 15. The program was initiated by SP in 2011, and aims to educate and prepare students for international integration, especially in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).
