Channel News Asia, 5 Oct 2014 - Story focused on the Aspire’s committee recommendations on recognising skills instead of paper qualifications and how institutions are providing more education and career guidance to students and employees. Programme also mentioned how internships will be enhanced as part of the recommendations. SP Principal & Chief Executive Officer, Mr Tan Choon Shian, who is an Aspire committee member opined on the different apprenticeship programmes in Switzerland and Germany, and how some aspects of it could be replicated in Singapore.
