Strong showing at xinyao contest

The Straits Times – Life, 14 Aug 2017 - Article featured the third edition of the National Schools Xinyao Singing and Songwriting Competition held at SP. The competition is open to students in secondary schools, pre-universities, polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education. Diploma in Food Science and Technology (DFST) student Joyce Seah, who won in the group singing category last year, won the solo singing category this year. Diploma in Music and Audio Technology (DMAT) students Wayne Oh Geng Hui and Jeremy Hwang Jie Wei bagged the prize for best composition with their song Unforgettable Past, which was performed by fellow DMAT student Brandon Ling.
