S’pore Poly brings design students under one roof

The Straits Times, 10 Sep 2014 - SP officially opened the new design school building yesterday. The five-storey building took two years to complete and includes facilities such as prototyping labs, a motion capture room and photo studio. SP Design School Director, Mr Faris Hajamaideen, opined on how the new building housing all four design diplomas under one roof will allow students to be exposed to different design projects and hopefully grow the quality of exchange between students. The four diplomas are the Diploma in Experience and Product Design, Diploma in games Development and Design, Diploma in Interior Design and the Diploma in Visual Communication and Media Design. Interior Design student, Mr Yong Ming Jie, also opines on how design students will now have more opportunities to share their different perspectives and project ideas.
