Berita Harian, 29 Sep 2016 - At the closing ceremony of the Temasek 20/20 Short Film Project, two student films were highlighted for its high quality and well-written script. One of the films titled ‘Goldfish’ is the work of SP’s Diploma in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics student Ashraf Arshad. The film reflects his experience of living under the same roof with his 80 year-old grandmother who suffers from dementia. Since being uploaded on social media, ‘Goldfish’ has attracted 44,000 views. The Temasek 20/20 Short Film Project (The 20/20 Project) is the inaugural commissioned film series sponsored by Temasek. The project aims to provide a platform for young filmmakers in Singapore to not only have an opportunity to pursue their filmmaking dreams, but also help refine their craft under the mentorship of some of Singapore’s most established filmmakers.
