Track and Field athlete was eligible for the admission despite his mediocre results

Lianhe Zaobao, 20 Sep 2016 - Tan Pei Yi, who successfully enrolled into SP’s Diploma in Music and Audio Technology (DMAT) course via the Early Admissions Exercise (EAE), shared her childhood passion in music and the interview process. Due to her bad ‘O’ Level results last year, she retook her ‘O’ Level examinations as a private candidate this year. She opined that EAE allowed students to showcase their passion in music and not be at a disadvantage because of their academic results. Yusof Ishak Secondary School student Huang Yu Sheng, who successfully enrolled into RP’s Diploma in Sports and Exercise Science via EAE, was also featured.
