The Straits Times, 1 Sep 2014 - The fifth of a 10-part editorial by the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore profiled people who are part of the international shipping hub. SP’s Diploma in Maritime Transportation graduate, Mr Juay Hung Yeo, shared the nature and challenges of his job as assistant manager, stowage. Mr Juay is responsible for maximizing the use of space on a vessel while bearing in mind the safety limits of the vessel. He also shared the career prospects of his job and the rewards of a career in the maritime industry.
