Chef enters the sustainable food industry to contribute to Singapore’s “30 by 30” vision

After working in overseas for several years, local chef Ren Jun Rui returned to Singapore and had a serendipitous career opportunity in an American food technology company, Good Meat. This marks his first foray into the sustainable food industry, as he participated in the production of the world's first cell-grown chicken. Ren said the company is currently small, mainly working with Singapore Polytechnic for R&D and production, along with several local restaurants to include cultivated chicken into their menus.
