During a dialogue session with food and beverage companies, Senior Minister of State for Trade & Industry Chee Hong Tat, urged companies to work together in order to achieve better outcomes individually as well as for the industry as a whole. For example, they could share their knowledge about regional competition so local companies will know where future opportunities and challenges lie. Mr Chee also shared that companies should work with trade associations, polys and universities to develop better solutions for their products. The dialogue session was organised by The Business Times and the Future Economy Council and held at SP’s Food Innovation and Research Centre.
