26 Jun 2019

A global survey conducted by Nielsen noted that that 61 per cent of Singaporeans are willing to experiment with other brands and products, although they still preferred to stick with their favourites. SP’s marketing and retail lecturer Lucas Tok shared that consumers might be more receptive to trying new brands, especially those with a sustainable image. SP’s School of Business lecturer, Leung Sau Yee, opined on how the shift could give small and medium-sized enterprises an advantage if they can adapt to consumers’ needs. NYP’s School of Business Management director Esther Ho also opined on the survey. Similar story was reported in The New Paper.
