EVs to become mainstream in 3 years

Article mentioned that Inchcape and SP signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly design and develop a training curriculum that prepares students for the transition to EVs (electric vehicles). SP students will receive tools from the dealership group along with lithium-ion car batteries to tinker with. The polytechnic expects 700 students to be ready for the new jobs in the post-combustion world by 2024. Inchcape chief executive, Jasmmine Wong, CEO of Inchcape Greater China and Singapore, sees the training courses as a way to identify promising students and recruit them.
