Five students in S'pore win awards for their community contributions

Article featured SP’s Diploma in Infocomm Security Management student Alwis Lim who was presented with the National Young Leader Award given out by the Halogen Foundation. He was recognised for his work in helping primary and secondary school children living in rental flats in Kebun Baru gain digital literacy by holding workshops to teach them how to use Zoom and Google slides. Alwis was one of five winners selected from a pool of 150 applicants after a stringent selection process that included two rounds of panel interviews and an online voting exercise by members of the public.
